Pesaro
Pesaro
A nice walk to discover the beauties of Pesaro could start from Piazza
del Popolo where you find a beautiful marble fountain dated 1600 and
Palazzo Ducale , where families Sforza and Della Rovere lived. If from
Piazza del Popolo you take Via Rossini, you’ll find the house of the
famous composer Gioacchino Rossini and also the wonderful Cathedral.
Not far from the centre, at a five minutes’ walk , you can also admire
the ancient military fortress Rocca Costanza. Other places worth
visiting are: Rossini Theatre, Church of San Agostino, Sanctuary of the
Virgin of Graces, Civic museums, Conservatorio Rossini. The bike path
is one of the longest in Italy and it offers you a beautiful landscape
as it runs along the sea. The town is quiet, but rich of night events
during the Summer and full of shops.
